Reporting in The Australian this morning in relation to the AFP position on its submission to the Clarke Inquiry is incorrect. There has been no change in the AFP’s position on its submission.
Mr Clarke has clearly articulated, in a media release, the reasons precluding him from publishing the AFP submission. The AFP is in ongoing dialogue with the Clarke Inquiry in relation to its submission and, as it has from the outset, is providing full co-operation to the Inquiry.
