Witnesses sought to supermarket ram-raid

ACT Policing is investigating a ram-raid at a supermarket which occurred this morning (October 7) in Duffy.
About 12.10am today police attended the 5 Star Supermarket, Duffy Place, in relation to an intruder alarm. On arrival police discovered the front glass doors of the shop smashed inward and what looked like tyre marks leading from the store.
Police viewed CCTV footage of the incident. The footage showed, what appeared to be, a white Toyota Camry accelerate into the front glass area of the store. Three men were seen exiting the vehicle. The men took a quantity of alcohol before leaving in the vehicle.
The three male offenders are described as between 15 to 20 years-old, wearing white hooded jumpers and dark trousers. One male was also wearing a black balaclava.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen suspicious activity in the Duffy Place area last night or who may know the identity of the offenders to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
