Pharmacy robbery; witnesses sought

ACT Policing is investigating an armed robbery at the Bluebell Pharmacy in Ainslie about 9.45am yesterday (October 6).
The offender entered the store and threatened staff with a knife demanding prescription medication and cash.
Staff complied with the offenders demands and followed him out of the shop, raising the alarm. A member of the public came to the aid of the staff and observed the offender flee the scene in an early model white Ford Telstar with a black stripe down the side and the number plate covered.
The offender (pictured) is described as male, Caucasian or European in appearance, approximately 173-175cm (5’8 – 5’9”) tall, olive skin, with black hair, and acne scars on his face. He was wearing a dark jacket with camouflage pattern, black pants with pockets on both sides, large black women’s sunglasses, a white baseball cap with a tan peak and carrying a cream bag.
